The helmet was made from a resin casting of the driver head of the original edition Monogram Rommel’s Rod. The inspiration for this came from a reference photo found online of this being done on automobiles. After drilling out the helmet, a small air cleaner was found that was the ideal size for fitting partially within. Comes as separate pieces so you can easily paint them to their proper finish which also lets you use either one as a separate item.
Thanks to casting with a two-part mold they have detail on the underside that requires no extra sanding and can easily be installed. Depending on the carburetor used, the attaching point may still need to be modified.
