This 16-gallon fuel cell was created using the no longer available Revell ’30 Model A kit. The resin casting captures the intricate features with clean detail, resulting in a perfect replica of the original kit part. The use of a two-part mold during casting results in detailed finishing on the bottom of the piece, which eliminates the need for additional sanding. This simplifies and expedites the project, providing a hassle-free assembly process with no casting imperfections to contend with for those looking for quick project completion. Although the kit has since been reissued, this may still be useful to those who are not interested in purchasing the model kit for parts.
