This 1/25 resin SBC drag race oil pan was originally from the Revell 32 Ford Rat Roaster kit. It was molded to the engine halves so there was some extensive work to get this mastered as a separate part.
1/25 resin SBC Drag Race Oil Pan
The Revell 32 Ford Rat Roaster kit contains a lot of parts that would be good candidates for resin casting. One of those components is this SBC drag race oil pan, however, it was originally molded into the engine halves. I had to glue the engine together before casting it as a complete block, oil pan, and transmission. In this manner, I was able to duplicate both the oil pan and the transmission without damaging the original.
