This manual transmission was originally from the Revell ’70 Cuda kit which is cast as a one-piece case, so there is no seam to contend with. There is a version of these included in a few different kits, and after comparing the details this transmission is one of the better examples. Particularly this doesn’t have the gear linkage molded into the side, it lends itself to installing your own for an even greater level of realism. Thanks to casting with a two-part mold it has detail on the bottom of the piece it requires no extra sanding, making it an easy and quick project for those who want their projects finished quickly without having to deal with any casting flaws during assembly.
