The “Weiand” embossed on the intake floor’s detail is still evident thanks to the chrome being carefully removed from the master, and any residue was meticulously cleaned before producing the mold for these. Casting with a two-part mold means the bottom of the piece requires no extra sanding, which speeds up engine builds and eliminates casting flaws during assembly.
